You really only have one other option, and that is going to the Stake President. He would understand your concern, especially if your father is bishop, but might still recommend that you talk to him.
I know it seems scary, but my experience has been that fathers are encouraged to know that you are trying to do the right thing, and are trying to go back on the road to repentance. Also, my experience has also been that many bishops have the ability to separate personal relationships with spiritual ones, meaning that when they are acting in the office of Bishop, they put the bishop-hat on and go to work.
