My sister, Catalina on here, got accepted to BYU-I, but I don't remember what track she's on. I just know it's different than my brother's (Sir Galahad). Anyways, just thought I'd let y'all know since neither of them gets on here anymore...much.

Your bro is Sir Galahad? I didn't know that. I meant to track him down when I was up there. Didn't work out.

Yes he is. You might also remember by sister Swedishfishlover, but she doesn't get on anymore...maybe every few months...or years

So, I'm going on the first of January, and I'll be living in the cooking dorms, and I was just wondering if there was any suggestions of what I'm gonna need?? I've got the list of stuff they told me, but I'm sure there's a ton of stuff they don't say and that I won't think of until I'm needing it. So anyone know what I'll need to take?? Any help is apprecieated! :D thanks

One of the most important lessons I learned at BYUI: You never know when you need a can of silly string so be prepared. :)

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but know that you're going to be branded as a "Dorm Girl." Don't feel bad, my wife started that same way, and I think she turned out all right (she might beg to differ).

Haha. Yeah, but I'm sure a buncha people will be in the dorms. And I've never even been to Idaho, so it seemed silly to get an apartment. But that's ok :D

Those are all good. I'm gonna freeze to death there. I just know it. lol

At least it's a cooking dorm. But it still doesn't beat off-campus living. You're never too far away from campus no matter where you live.

As far as things to make sure you take... sturdy shoes (you will not be wearing heels when it gets really snowy and icy - or when the roads are red from the salt trucks). Scarf. I had one more thing in mind but can't think of it now.

Hey, I'll be back at BYU-I in January. I just got off of my mission. I haven't been on this forum in about 2 -1/2 years. Crazy huh?

I still see HotDogJo around at BYU-I. Funny that. Then I also am in frequent contact with Frozenchosen. Wow, how the times have changed.

I would probably give a finger or toe to be back at BYU-Idaho. I love that place so much.
